The Smurfs find a way to get you moving and grooving

The Smurfs Dance Party track list is a collection of classic dance hits and classic original songs from The Smurfs TV show. Each track has unique choreography and can accommodate up to four dancers. The Smurfs Dance Party, is an all-new dance video game for the Nintendo Wii based on the best-selling Just Dance games. . It offers hours of great fun for kids of ALL ages and adults too. Gameplay is just like the original, Just Dance games, you hold your Wiimote in your hand and mirror the moves in sync with the onscreen characters, however this version replaces the original’s glowing silhouettes with your favorite Smurf characters.

The Smurfs Dance Party has three modes of play. A Story Mode, where Papa Smurf spins the tale of the Smurf’s movie and has you dance along side him on stage. In Dance Mode, pick any song you want to dance to with three ways to groove: Regular is the normal game, Team Mode enables four players to cooperating for the score, and Freeze & Shake required you to freeze or shake the Wii remote when you are prompted. In the Playlist Mode you can dance along to a preset playlist of songs or create your own custom playlist.

Like in Just Dance Kids, there is a section where parents can track their child’s progress through the game, how long they’ve played, what awards they’ve unlocked, and even how many calories they’ve burned.

This game is a great choice for schools to use because there are no inappropriate song lyrics or dance moves and the moves are simple enough for young children to follow along.
