After purchasing any exergaming equipment, make sure you become familiar with troubleshooting the equipment, which games and accessories are compatible with the equipment and for what ages the equipment is most appropriate.

Make safety a number one priority

Safety should be he number one priority when implementing exergaming in any program. Be cautious with the use of electricity and loose wires. Secure or hide the wires to avoid students tripping and falling when moving around the space while playing.

Use a mobile cart for exergaming equipment

If you do not have a designated room to keep  exergaming equipment “set up” at all times, use a mobile cart that can be moved in and out of a storage room quickly and easily.
